Most of the commercials directed by Roman were also created and written by him. His experience from the feature film sector visibly flows into the productions. Already in the first big commercials for C&A he developed a new form of advertising film and made the brand interesting for a younger target group. Still well-known today are the music tracks by Jeff Beck and Marla Glen that were produced for these commercials.
